It was just another day at school for Christopher Daniels
and Lucien Ashworth, rival teens at a plain, ordinary
high school - Until something strange happened. Now Chris
and Lucien find themselves on a whole new world, fighting
for survival amongst strange new peoples. When they eventually
succeed in keeping their heads above water, they find
themselves as the leaders of a supernatural war about
to break loose... and they're on opposite sides of the
field!
Alongside
Gareth Dragon and his spunky sidekick, Ember, Christopher
has to find a way to defeat the evil Drakobitus that's
been unleashed on the helpless, peaceful world of Phauroraland
before it's too late!
If
he doesn't, he may never see his home and family again...
"Slayer's
Game" is the first of the many sagas that make up
the Legends of Phauroraland series, the brainchild of
artist and author, Susan Rugg. This awesome high fantasy
saga is the first joint venture between Ms. Rugg, and
the writers Adam Perales and Helen Torkington, and hopefully
not the last!

Legends Of Phauroraland: Slayer's Game
The events in Slayer's Game revolve around the world of
Phauroraland, a crimson skied world still lost in the dark
ages of mankind, a tale of swords and sorcery, gods and
mortals, all fighting for control of one hapless world!

Just
another day at school for Christopher Daniels and
Lucien Ashworth, ordinary seeming students of Ashlynn
Grammar. But after threatening the girl that Chris
adores, Lucien takes their ongoing rivalry to a whole
new level.
After
school, the two confront one another in an abandoned
classroom, only to have their personal battle interfered
with... by the god of Chaos! Luckily, the goddess
of Luck is nearby as well, so perhaps things wont
go so badly for the world of Phauroland and the two
boys stolen from Earth... or will it?
The
black and white preview issue of Slayer's Game #1
is available only while stocks last. It is being supplanted,
story-wise and physically, by the colour issue due
for release in September.
This
book is limited to 100 copies. |

The full issue of Slayer's Game features more story,
more art, and lots of shiny full colour pages! Including
coloured pages from the first printing, the fans will
get to see their favourite high school rivals the
way they've never seen them before - In colour!
On
the other side of the portal, there's more fun to
be had as this bumper-sized book includes another
ten pages of story to extend the story arc further
and further, and to give us all a glimpse of what
happens to Chris and Lucien on the other side of that
mysterious portal.
The
gods work in mysterious ways...
The
September reprint of the first issue of Slayer's Game
is one of the first full colour books that'll be released
by Blue Scar Productions. The response to the gorgeous
cover that won the first Slayer's Game Cover Competition
was so fantastic that BSP has contracted the artist
as a full time colourist!
Legends
of Phauroraland: Slayer's Game #1 (colour version)
will be released around September of 2006.
